Contraindications

Dermal fillers are best for treating the face, lips, cheeks, neck, and hands. Your provider will talk with you more about the specific areas to treat with dermal fillers.

Bloom provider will consult with you to determine the best treatment course. Your skin will be cleaned at the injection sites. Typically the service is completed in about 30 minutes. The results of dermal fillers should be seen almost immediately and are expected to last for 12-14 months to several years when appropriately maintained.

Dermal fillers are minimally-invasive, which means you should most likely be able to return to your normal activities right away. However, we recommend avoiding any intense physical activity for 24-48 hours after treatment to minimize any bruising or swelling at the injection site. Some redness and brief numbness are expected post-procedure. Bruising and swelling may occur, which can give a temporary “overfilled appearance.” Ice to the treated area intermittently x 24 - 48 hours should reduce these effects.
